Samsung Q1P-SSD: A Flop?
Samsung seems to have brought about a gazillion new products to this year's CES, but reports have labeled the new Q1P-SSD - its next gen handheld PC as a flop already. The Q1P has seen a lot of press because it has a flash based hard drive to slash boot times. This little beauty if far from cheap, weighing in at about $2,000.
As for specs, the Q1P sports a 32GB SSD, Pentium M/Celeron M. The problem is that the Q1P is still fairly bulky and can't keep up with units being offered by Sony and OQO. The verdict, avoid the Q1P and spend your hard earned money on one of its competitors or wait till version 3.

Rumors are swirling around the internet of a new cell phone from Sony that looks like a cross between the PSP and a HTC-ish QWERTY slider phone. The design is definitely tempting, but since it is a Sony product it will likely be bogged down by the same type of downfalls that other Sony products have. Here's to hoping that no rootkits come standard with this little beauty.
