Prefab Hotels By Travelodge

Travelodge is apparently building a prefab hotel in London. The hotels can be constructed in as little as 12 weeks and removed when an event is finished. Reuters is reporting that the units were imported from China with bathrooms already installed which no doubt has reduced construction time considerably. Verbus, the company designing the hotels hopes that the next version of the hotels could come furnished before construction as well extending the uses to student and urban housing.

Aside from being one of the meanest looking buildings I have seen in a long time, Sanyo has built one of the most energy efficient green buildings out there. The building has more than 5,000 solar panels and generates over 500,000 KWh of green energy.
